Washington County girls streak ends at 63 straight wins
It’s over.
The Washington County Lady Hawks saw their 63-game winning streak come to a stunning end Saturday night, as Columbia pulled off the unlikely upset, 57-33, in the GHSA Class AAA championship game in Macon.

Washington County girls down North Hall, win streak now at 63 straight games
The winning streak for the Washington County Lady Hawks is now at 63 straight games.
The WaCo girls rolled past North Hall, 68-52, to advance to the GHSA Class AAA championship game on Saturday.

Miller Grove boys four-peat
The Miller Grove Wolverines made history, as they became the first program since Westover of Albany (1990-1993) to win four straight state championship with a 63-57 win over archrival Southwest DeKalb, in the GHSA Class AAAA boys title game at the Arena at Gwinnett Center Friday. It’s the fourth straight state title for the Miller Grove boys.

Miller Grove sweeps Southwest Dekalb, wins AAAA titles
It’s a clean sweep for DeKalb County’s Miller Grove High School, as both the boys and girls teams won their respective Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class AAAA state titles Friday. The girls won 46-39, while the boys won their fourth straight state title, defeating the Panthers, 63-57.
